Project Manager


£50,000 and £70,000 per year. (Dependent on location, client/project and experience)

40+ Hours Per Week


The Project Manager will be responsible for organisation, resource allocation, staff management, setting targets and managing the budget.


Responsibilities can vary between different projects.  It may include but is not limited to:

* Communicates with the key clients to determine their needs

* Agreeing timescales, costs and resources needed to complete the project

* Creating a detailed plan of the project and seeing it through to completion

* You will most likely be involved in the selection and recruitment process to create your team

* Reporting on the progress of the project to your key stakeholders

* Solving problems and obstacles that could impact the time frame of the project

About the Candidate

* Excellent organisational, planning and time management

* An analytical mind with the ability to think outside the box to solve problems

* Excellent attention to detail

* Outstanding communication skills both written and oral

* The ability to lead a team to the best of their abilities

* An in-depth understanding of the construction industry

* Understanding of budget control

* Excellent IT skills with excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages

* Good at networking and building relationships with key stakeholders

* Excellent written and oral communication skills



* Educated to degree level in a relevant subject: Business Management, Project Management, Engineering, Economics


The client may insist you have a qualification from one of these relevant bodies:

* Association for Project Management (APM)

* Project Management Institute (PMI)

* Chartered Management Institute (CMI)
