Covering the Devon Area
Permanent – 8am – 5pm
£34,000 & Company Van
I am working with a private, bespoke house builder to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled Technician to join their team to cover sites across the Devon area, five different sites in total.
The Customer Care team make sure home buyers receive the very best care following their home buying experience and throughout the aftercare period.
Reporting to the Customer Care Manager and working closely with the other Technicians, the successful candidate will be the face of Customer Care within our customers' homes, providing a high level of customer care to the customer, to be punctual for appointment's and to provide effective solutions.
Key responsibilities:
·         Taking direction from the Customer Care Manager, ensuring all customer appointments are attended on time
·         Ensure the property is adequately protected before commencement of works, including PPE and overshoes. Take relevant photographs confirming protection, before and after works and reporting on completion of works via email
·         Review your diary and ensure that workload is allocated appropriately ensuring works can be completed right first time in the time allowed and resolved in a timely manner
·         As and when required carry out inspections of reported defects and issue a full report with photographs
·         Report any repetitive defects on active and non-active sites to the Customer Care Manager to discuss with the Commercial/Technical Director
·         Ensure that Health and Safety is followed and site regulations are adhered to
To be successful in the role, we are looking for:
·         Comprehensive knowledge of construction, house-building & trades e.g. Painting, Decorating, Plastering, Carpentry and Joinery
·         Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal with customers in a friendly and professional manner,
·         Organised, self-motivated with a high level of personal integrity and respect for others is essential
·         Able to work as part of a small team with established processes and procedures
·         Ability to work independently, prioritise work and take initiative
·         Works well under pressure/in a fast-moving environment
·         Clean driving license.
