Project Manager

We are working with a main contractor to recruit a detail-driven Project Manager for an exciting construction project in Plymouth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, accuracy, coordination, and managing the technical flow of information.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring all project documentation, drawings, and technical details are aligned to support smooth on-site delivery. This would suit an experienced Project Manager who enjoys working with detail and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all project documentation, drawings, specifications, and technical information required for the build process
• Maintain close communication with the Operations Manager and delivery team to ensure information is accurate, complete, and issued on time
• Attend internal and external project meetings, capturing actions and ensuring information is clearly communicated
• Liaise with the supply chain to gather, review, and coordinate design and technical data
• Support the build team by ensuring all pre-construction and construction-phase information is compliant and ready
• Oversee document control, updates, drawing revisions, and registers
• Keep the project on track from a technical and administrative perspective, identifying gaps in information and driving solutions
• Assist with QA processes, build reviews, and compliance checks
• Work collaboratively with design teams, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders

About You

• Experience in a similar Project Manager or technical coordination role
• Strong technical understanding of construction processes and documentation
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident liaising with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams
• Comfortable attending meetings and taking ownership of information flow
• Proactive communicator with strong problem-solving skills
