Senior Planner

Our client is a well-established (major) building contractor that operates from a base in the Cardiff area, covering the South Wales region in its entirety. They carry out a range of building and refurbishment projects typically up to £200 million in value.

Due to the expansion of the regional office and the award of a very prestigious and high-profile building project in Cardiff,  they have approached us with the requirement to recruit an experienced Construction Planner to join their team.

Involved primarily in the delivery of the scheme, you will work closely with a very experienced project team. The project starts in Q2 and you will be heavily involved from the very start. The project is in excess of £200 million in value.

Your role will involve carrying out a full planning function from the pre-tender stage through to the handover. This will include Producing linked tender and construction programmes from quantities, and method statements, identifying Key Performance Indicators, site logistics, compiling and contributing to submission documents.

Candidates will have a strong main contracting background as a Planner and reside within commutable distance of the Cardiff area.
