SHE – Q Coordinator

South Wales (Blackwood)

£25,000k - £30,000k /per annum

Sphere solutions are currently recruiting for a SHE – Q Coordinator, to work for a regional manufacturing company in Blackwood South Wales. Job Summary:

Working within the SHE-Q Department and reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer, the role of the SHE-Q Co-Ordinator will facilitate the day-to-day operations of SHE-Q and contribute to the application of effective Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management by providing support. Developing, maintain, and protect Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards within all business units in accordance with current legislation.

The Role:

  • Support the Compliance & Senior Quality Engineer in operational aspects, driving forward change in

  • Assist in collating data to maintain ISO 9001/ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 (ISO 45001) certification, also

  • but not limited to, Achilles and ENA

  • Establish, implement, and maintain processes required for the Quality Management System.

  • Collection of weekly and monthly KPI information

  • Manage the CAPA system

  • Assist with the processing of warranty claims and maintaining the Quality Event System

  • Documentation Control as per ISO 9001 requirements

  • Liaise with external bodies on matters of certification

  • Raise Purchase Requisitions to ensure payment of certification bodies and relevant subscriptions

  • Review and collate Internal Audit documentation on submission from Internal Auditors

  • Generate appropriate actions from External audits

  • Assist in the development of the Integrated Management System (Health, Safety, Environmental &

  • Quality)

  • Document all reported safety improvement opportunities (SIO)

  • Deputise the Compliance Engineer in their absence, to include supervision of other team members.

The Candidate:

  • Previous manufacturing experience in similar role

  • Quality Management Systems knowledge (Desirable)

  • Microsoft Office packages (Word, excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook)

  • A good understanding of fundamental manufacturing principles

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


  • GCE Level, including Maths and English

  • Qualified and experienced internal auditor (Desirable)

  • Qualified and experienced Lead auditor (Desirable)

  • Quality management experience (Desirable)
