​We are delighted to be partnering with a rapidly growing, ambitious housing developer to recruit a Site Manager for an up and coming site near Okehampton.

With an impressive land bank locally and an experienced management team, this role will suit someone with house building experience who is driven by quality and looking to join a privately owned developer.

 The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day to day activities on site, ensuring both materials and subcontractors arrive on time and carry out the works to expected quality standards, at the same time managing directly employed labour. Reporting on site progress and taking responsibility for all on site activities will be pivotal for this role.

 This role will suit a self-motivated, conscientious individual who thrives on working in a busy environment and is happy to embrace new working methods including IT based solutions. You will need to have an SMSTS and a First Aid certificate, ideally a trade background and good knowledge of house building – large or small!

If you are currently an Assistant Site Manager looking to step up to being a number, then this could the role for you! Initially a small traditional unit site with a mix of open market and affordable.
