Site Manager – West Cornwall

Location: Redruth
Salary: £65,000 – £68,000 + Package
Employment Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

About the Role

Are you an experienced Site Manager with a background in commercial construction? Sphere Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a well-established private developer for an exciting project involving steel frame and timber frame construction in West Cornwall.

This is a fixed-term contract for the duration of both schemes, approximately 12 months. However, there is potential for a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate site operations, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery.
• Manage direct staff, labour, and subcontractors to maintain efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations on-site.
• Procure and manage materials efficiently to align with project needs.
• Collaborate with the commercial and design teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget.

Requirements

• SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and CSCS Card (Essential).
• Proven experience in commercial construction, ideally with steel frame and timber frame builds.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• A proactive and solution-focused mindset.
