The Opportunity

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading, highly respected main contractor for an experienced Site Manager to join a landmark high-technology project near Newport. The Role

As Site Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the internal fit-out of multiple buildings within the development, reporting directly to the Project Manager. This phase of the scheme is just the beginning—further phases are planned, offering stability and progression within a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations on internal fit-out packages
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure quality and safety standards
• Work closely with the Project Manager to drive the programme forward
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and site regulations
• Manage materials, logistics, and sequencing of works

About You

You’ll need to bring:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial, industrial or high-spec projects
• Strong track record in internal fit-out works
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving and team leadership
