The Role

Working as a key part of the commercial team and reporting to the overall Commercial Manager, you will play a vital role in the commercial delivery of a major, flagship project in Cardiff. You’ll be responsible for managing costs, contracts, procurement and subcontractor relationships to ensure the project is delivered on time and to budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the commercial management of the project from start to finish
• Subcontractor procurement and management
• Cost control, forecasting, and reporting
• Contract administration (NEC or JCT experience preferred)
• Working closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders
• Contributing to value engineering and risk management

About You

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a recognised Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor
• Track record of working on large-scale construction projects
• Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of contract law
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
• Driven, detail-oriented and career-focused
