Location: Exeter
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000

Sphere Solutions is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor, ideally from a Groundworks / Civils background, to join a very successful contractor covering sites across Devon.

You will join an experienced commercial team, reporting directly to a Commercial Manager. Working with an extensive client base—predominantly large and small house builders—this is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified Quantity Surveyor to join a forward-thinking team of like-minded professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing sub-contractors to maximise costs and margins
• Assisting with ongoing estimating duties
• Commercial and financial management
• Valuations, reconciliations, and final accounts
• Reporting to head office and travelling to site as required

About You

• Ideally qualified with a relevant construction-related qualification
• Extensive experience within the construction industry
• Background in groundworks or civils is highly desirable
• Full UK driving licence required
• Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
