Senior Design Manager – Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design process on a £30m healthcare construction project
• Coordinate consultant teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
• Drive design programme to meet key project milestones
• Manage risk, compliance, and technical approvals
• Ensure design solutions are practical, cost-effective, and buildable
• Oversee BIM coordination and technical integration
• Support commercial and operational teams throughout delivery

Senior Design Manager – Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Design Manager or Design Manager on large construction projects
• Experience delivering healthcare, laboratory, or technically complex schemes preferred
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction standards
• Tier 1 or large main contractor experience desirable
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
• Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
