Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Exeter

Sphere Solutions are partnering with a respected construction contractor delivering projects across the South West. The business delivers a diverse range of regeneration schemes, new build affordable housing, and commercial developments.

Due to continued growth, they are recruiting a Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their Exeter office. This role offers long-term career development and the opportunity to work on varied, meaningful projects that positively impact local communities.

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial function across multiple projects, ensuring robust financial management and successful project delivery. Key duties include:

• Assist with the preparing and analysing cost plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Assist with procurement of subcontractors, materials, and services.
• Assist with variations, valuations, and final accounts.
• Commercial Administration

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience at a similar level within the construction industry.
• HNC qualified
• Good understanding of construction processes
• Excellent communication and IT skills
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
