About the Role

Are you an experienced Groundworker looking for a secure, permanent role with a growing and forward-thinking contractor?

We are working with one of the UK’s leading providers of property maintenance, refurbishment, and retrofit services to recruit a Groundworker to join their team covering the Cornwall area.

Working within the Social Housing and Public Sector, you’ll carry out a wide variety of groundwork and external maintenance works, helping to improve homes and communities across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of groundwork on domestic and social housing properties
• Remove, repair, and relay paving, slabs, and flagstones
• Prepare and lay new concrete paths, ramps, and footings
• Excavate trenches, holes, and foundations as required
• Identify and rectify defects to external groundworks
• Operate hand tools and light machinery safely and efficiently
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other trades to deliver projects on time
• Provide excellent customer service when working in occupied properties

About You

• Proven experience as a Groundworker
• Experience working on construction sites and domestic properties
• Ability to carry out physically demanding work
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
• Full UK Driving Licence
• IT literate
