Technical Project Coordinator

Our client delivers quality and unique housing developments across Cornwall. With a strong pipeline of projects, they are looking to strengthen their technical team and appoint a Technical Coordinator.

The role will be responsible for coordinating key technical information and working drawings to enable residential developments to be successfully delivered.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning team based in Cornwall.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across multiple live sites from planning through to completion
• Coordinate consultants and ensure designs are delivered on time and to standard
• Manage planning conditions and liaise with authorities and statutory bodies
• Ensure technical information meets Building Regulations, NHBC and local requirements
• Identify and resolve design and technical risks before they impact site
• Manage technical budgets and consultant fees
• Report progress, risks and key issues to senior management

What You Need

• Proven experience as a Technical Coordinator or Technical Manager within new build housing
• Strong knowledge of UK planning, Building Regulations and NHBC requirements
• Confident managing consultants, disciplines, programmes and quality
• Good technical understanding of house design, site layouts, drainage and infrastructure
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple live projects and competing priorities
• Relevant construction/design qualification desirable but not essential
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Devon & Cornwall
