Accounting Manager

Location: Launceston

Salary: £40,000-£45,000

Sphere Solutions are partnering with their client to recruit an Accounting Manager who will lead the full accounting function for their business, working independently while supporting managers and key stakeholders with accurate financial reporting, insight, and advice to drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports and monthly management accounts, tailored to leisure operations
• Create, monitor, and manage company and departmental budgets, including seasonal planning
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase profitability across multiple sites or revenue streams
• Maintain accurate financial records, including: purchase and sales invoices, online payment reconciliations, till takings, supplier payments, and debt recovery
• Manage the payroll

Experience & Skills

• AAT, CIMA, or ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in an Accounting Manager or senior finance role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in Sage, Xero, or similar accounting software

This is a full-time permanent role, working 40 hours per week. Once the initial training and handover period is complete, there is an option to work on a hybrid basis.
