Project Administrator – Major Construction Scheme

Cardiff | Permanent (3+ year project)

We are recruiting for an experienced Administrator to join a leading construction company on a flagship project in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting a major scheme that will run for approximately three years initially, with long-term career potential.

The Role

As Project Administrator, you will provide vital support to the project team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all day-to-day administration. You’ll be at the heart of the operation, working closely with managers, engineers, and site staff to keep everything on track.

Key responsibilities include:

• Handling project documentation, reports, and correspondence
• Managing databases, filing systems, and records
• Supporting meetings – preparing agendas, minutes, and action tracking
• Coordinating communications between office and site teams
• Assisting with procurement, compliance, and H&S documentation
• General administrative support to ensure the project runs efficiently

About You

We are looking for a proactive, organised, and detail-focused administrator who thrives in a busy project environment.

Essential skills & experience:

• Strong all-round administration skills, ideally gained in a construction or engineering environment
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities
• Confident with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems
• Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure
• Previous experience supporting large-scale projects is highly desirable
