The Role

You’ll support the Senior QS and Commercial Manager in the delivery of a major construction scheme, gaining hands-on experience on a flagship project with a nationally recognised main contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with measurement and valuation of works
• Supporting procurement and subcontractor administration
• Preparing interim applications and cost reports
• Maintaining accurate records and assisting with variations
• Liaising with operational teams, suppliers and subcontractors
• Learning from senior team members to develop your commercial skillset

About You

• Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role (placement or post-graduate) with a main contractor
• Degree-qualified or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Familiar with construction contracts (e.g. NEC or JCT)
• Eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced, professional environment
• Strong attention to detail, with good communication and teamwork skills
