Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a very well-established and highly successful Groundworks and Civil Engineering contractor based in the Bridgwater area. They carry out a range of projects across the residential and commercial sectors, with projects ranging up to £10 million typically. They have grown continually over the last few years and have an excellent reputation throughout the South West.

Due to ongoing growth, they have approached us with the requirement to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis.

Working closely with a Senior QS in regards to most projects you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of schemes, which typically stretch from Bristol down as far as Exeter.

This role will allow the incumbent to develop their skills in all areas of the role. This really is an excellent long-term opportunity for an individual who is keen to further their career long-term. Our client is looking for someone who wants to develop into a key senior member of the commercial team down the line.

Candidates may come from a Civil Engineering background or main contracting as well as housebuilding. More important is a willingness to learn, and develop long-term with a rapidly expanding company.
