Sphere Solutions is currently recruiting a Bid Manager / Estimator on a permanent basis to play a pivotal role in formulating bidding strategies and preconstruction activities.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional who has worked within a pre-construction / contracting environment, within estimating or bid management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the bid process from start to finish, ensuring timely submission of bids
• Lead the bid process, opportunity identification and proposal submission.
• Develop bid strategies.
• Manage bidding budgets, resources and timelines
• Maintain bid documentation and pricing information.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for bids –
• Review bid requirements and develop a comprehensive bid strategy
• Prepare and submit accurate and competitive bids
• Track and monitor bid progress and provide regular updates to management
• Conduct post-bid analysis to identify areas for improvement
• Asses the risk levels associated with a project
• Prepare and submit quotations and costs for work
• Monitoring costs ensuring project is kept within budget

Key Requirements:

• Degree qualified or equivalent in construction related field
• Proven experience in estimating construction project tenders (refurbishment and new-build)
• NEC and JCT contract knowledge
• CSCS card
• Valid full UK driving Licence
• Sound knowledge of relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
