 Tekla Detailer / Draughtsperson required for an established manufacturing company based in Cardiff. The candidate will be working in a small drawing office on a range of projects including steel bridges, stairs, lift shafts, walkways, slipways, flood defence gates, piling platforms and many more different fabrications. The candidate will ideally have experience of Network Rail standards (but not essential) and be proficient in Tekla solutions having worked in a similar role within a drawing office for a minimum of 5 years. The ideal candidate will also have a basic knowledge of AutoCAD. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing innovative company which will give the successful candidate the chance to progress their career within the Engineering industry. This is a full-time position based at Centregreat Engineering fabrication facility in Cardiff.

Technician Overview

• Interpret Engineer’s drawings.
• Work on a variety of projects primarily within the rail sector.
• Raise & interpret TQ’s.
• Produce GA’s, assembly and part drawings.
• Produce bolt lists.

Technician Position Requirements:

• At least 5 years experience within a drawing office.
• Basic AutoCAD experience.
• 3D Modelling experience preferably using Tekla Structures software.
• Good understanding of steel grades.
• Strong communication & organisational skills.

Technician Position Remuneration

• Salary £45K-£50K DOE
