We’re looking for a motivated, technically capable Site Engineer with hands-on construction experience, a keen eye for detail and the confidence to help ensure projects are delivered safely, accurately and to the highest standards.

The Opportunity

As a Site Engineer, you’ll play an important role in the successful delivery of construction projects, working closely with site management, subcontractors and the wider project team.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on projects valued at up to £25 million, gaining exposure to complex construction environments and contributing to the successful delivery of schemes across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out duties and ensure works are completed accurately in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Interpret construction drawings, technical information and project specifications.
• Undertake site surveys, measurements and dimensional checks.
• Monitor workmanship, quality and progress against project requirements.
• Work closely with Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors and other members of the construction team.
• Maintain accurate site records, survey information and engineering documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, escalating where necessary.
• Help ensure all site activities comply with health and safety requirements, quality standards and project procedures.
• Support the effective coordination and delivery of construction activities on site.

About You

To be successful in this Site Engineer role, you’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within the construction industry.
• A solid understanding of construction processes, site operations and project delivery.
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with setting out, surveying and site measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to work effectively with site teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• A commitment to health and safety and delivering high-quality work.
• A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline would be advantageous.

Experience working on medium to large-scale construction projects would be particularly beneficial.
