Estimator / Senior Estimator – Construction

The Role

As an Estimator / Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction team, contributing to the successful tendering of projects across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects
• Managing the full tender process from enquiry through to submission
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and employer’s requirements
• Working closely with commercial, design and delivery teams
• Engaging with supply chain partners to obtain competitive pricing
• Identifying value engineering and risk opportunities

The role can be tailored to suit an Intermediate Estimator ready to step up or an experienced Senior Estimator looking for a long-term home with a market-leading contractor.

About You

• Proven experience as an Estimator within a main contractor environment
• Experience working on projects across commercial, education, healthcare, residential or public sector schemes (desirable)
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Confident communicator who thrives in collaborative teams
• Ambition to develop and progress within a leading construction business
