Sphere Solutions are currently working with a large family-owned civil engineering company that are recruiting for an experienced sub-agent on a permanent basis. They have just secured £25 million scheme starting in April with a programme of 18 months.

Our client provides civil engineering services to almost two-thirds of the country from their offices in Suffolk, Yorkshire, Cambridgeshire, Kent and Hampshire. They specialise in the following sectors:

• Highways
• Bridges
• River & Marine
• Utilities & Energy
• Environmental

Their average length of service sits at 11 years which is something they are very proud of given that they have over 315 employees. They actively encourage the career development of their staff through various mentoring and ICE Training Schemes.

The Role:

To successfully manage the commercial aspects of multiple schemes from tender through to final account status, maximising profitability and building relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

Qualifications:

• 5 years experience in a commercial role
• Degree qualified or HNC in construction
• NEC contract experience
• Experience in working on civil engineering projects previously

Office Location: Ryarsh Kent

Site visits required throughout the south of England
