Mechanical Fitter – Plymouth

We are looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our client’s busy engineering team in Plymouth.

The role involves assembling, installing, maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, carrying out fault finding, and working from engineering drawings to ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.

Key Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Information

• All employees are required to undergo drug and alcohol screening
• Shift pattern role
• Salary dependent on experience
• Own transport is essential due to the site location
