Senior Planner – Exeter

Sphere Solutions is working with a leading Tier 1 contractor to recruit a Senior Planner for a major £multi-million construction project in Exeter. This is a key role, leading the planning function to ensure the project is delivered on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the project programme from pre-construction through to handover
• Monitor progress and performance, advising on mitigation where necessary
• Work closely with the wider project team, supply chain, and stakeholders
• Capture and review risks, identifying programme impacts and solutions
• Use Asta Powerproject to manage detailed programmes and reporting

About You

• Extensive experience in construction planning on large-scale projects
• Proficient in Asta Powerproject (or similar software)
• Understanding of major UK contract forms (e.g. NEC, JCT)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple project demands
