About the Role

Are you an experienced Plumber looking for a permanent role with a growing and forward-thinking contractor?

We are working with one of the UK’s leading providers of property maintenance, refurbishment, and retrofit services to recruit a Plumber to join their team covering the Cornwall area on a reactive maintenance basis.

As a Plumber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing works across occupied and void social housing properties. From diagnosing faults to completing installations and repairs, you’ll play a key role in maintaining homes to the highest standards while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing inspections and diagnose faults within residential properties
• Repair and replace defective plumbing systems, including pipework, taps, toilets, sinks, radiators, and water heaters
• Install new plumbing fixtures and systems where required
• Complete plumbing works within void properties to prepare homes for new tenants
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance works
• Ensure all work complies with current Building Regulations, Water Regulations, and Health & Safety legislation
• Liaise with tenants, colleagues, subcontractors, and housing teams to ensure work is completed efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of completed works and materials used
• Deliver excellent customer service while working within occupied homes
• Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard

About You

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a Plumber within residential or property maintenance environments
• Strong understanding of current Building Regulations and Health & Safety requirements
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Full UK Driving Licence
• IT literate
