Project Manager – Plymouth

Sphere Solutions are delighted to be partnering with a leading Tier 1 contractor to recruit a Project Manager for a major £20m external fire compliance refurbishment project in Plymouth.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile scheme, leading delivery from pre-construction through to completion while ensuring exceptional standards of quality, compliance, and health & safety.

The Role

• Lead the delivery of a £20m project from pre-construction to completion.
• Manage programme, budget, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain the Golden Thread of information, ensuring accurate project records throughout.
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and client stakeholders.
• Drive quality assurance, ensuring all works meet fire safety standards and legislation.
• Oversee inspections, commissioning, certification, and project handover.
• Champion health & safety, compliance, and best practice across the project.

About You

You will have a proven background delivering complex projects for a main contractor, ideally within a Tier 1 environment. Experience managing compliance-led or refurbishment projects is highly desirable, with knowledge of the Golden Thread and Building Safety legislation an advantage.

You will also have:

• Experience using Fieldview and Viewpoint.
• SMSTS.
• CSCS Card.
• First Aid at Work.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
