Are you a talented Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with a passion for heritage and high-quality construction?

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and award-winning main contractor based in Wales, known for delivering high-profile projects across South Wales. Due to a major new project win, they’re now looking to add an experienced PM or Senior PM to their team.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with a strong reputation, low staff turnover, and a secure long-term pipeline of work. Your initial focus will be a landmark refurbishment in the heart of Cardiff — a complete transformation of a well-known Grade-listed building.

• Project value: Approx. £25 million
• Duration: Circa 2.5 years
• Location: Cardiff
• Type: Full refurbishment of a listed building with complex logistical and conservation elements

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the project from pre-construction through to completion
• Managing site teams, subcontractors, and client relationships
• Ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
• Working closely with conservation consultants and heritage bodies where needed

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a PM or Senior PM with a main contractor
• Strong track record in delivering complex refurbishment or heritage projects
• Ideally has experience with listed buildings or conservation work
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
• Able to work in South Wales long-term (future projects will be local)
