Quality Manager

Sphere Solutions are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join one of our clients, a large and well-established Tier 1 building contractor.

Initially, you will work on a major build project (circa 200 million pounds) locally.

Working with a close-knit team, your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Promote a Right First-Time approach to project delivery, and the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle of continuous improvement.
• Update and communicate the Project Quality Risk assessment.
• Manage quality risks and ensure compliance with the Quality Management Plan.
• Highlight key quality risks, issue NCRs and stop works (QSOWN) if required.
• Adhere to Company Health and Safety practices and policies.

Essentially you will support the project by advising on the measures required to identify and control quality risks and ensure the requirements of the Project Quality Management Plan and company processes are implemented.

You will be an experienced Quality Manager with the following skills and experience:

• Have a formal qualification in building or construction.
• Have general building or civils experience.
• Experience in planning for Identification/Management of Risk.
• Have a recognised knowledge of building techniques and best practices.
• IT skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• CSCS registration/card.
