Quantity Surveyor

Sphere Solutions are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor, ideally from a Groundworks/civils background.

• £45,000-£60,000 + Car Allowance
• Permanent

You will be joining a highly successful Civils and Groundworks Contractor, working across various sites in Devon and extending slightly into Cornwall. As a key member of our experienced commercial team, you will report directly to the Head of Commercial.

Working with an extensive client base; predominantly house builders large and small. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified Quantity Surveyor to join a forward-thinking team of like-minded professionals.

• The role will involve managing sub-contractors to maximise costs, as well as assisting with ongoing estimating duties.
• Commercial/financial management, valuations, reconciliations, and final accounts.
• You will be required to report to the head office and travel to the site.

The successful applicant should ideally be qualified to a degree level or similar and have extensive experience within the construction industry, preferably within a groundworks or civil engineering background.
