Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for your next challenge?
This is your chance to join a reputable main contractor with a strong pipeline of major developments across the South West. We’re looking for a driven and commercially aware Project Manager to lead the delivery of a £10m+ scheme in Exeter.

Your Role

As Project Manager, you’ll oversee the full lifecycle of the project, ensuring it is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll coordinate internal teams and subcontractors, ensure full compliance with H&S regulations, and lead with confidence and integrity on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of on-site delivery, from mobilisation to handover
• Drive a positive site culture of health, safety, quality, and environmental excellence
• Coordinate with commercial, buying, planning, and design teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring performance and compliance
• Oversee risk assessments, method statements, and safety planning
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and programme tracking
• Conduct post-project reviews and implement lessons learned
• Ensure projects are handed over defect-free and to the client’s satisfaction

What You’ll Need

• Degree or equivalent in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Proven track record delivering projects over £10 million with a main contractor
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations and H&S legislation
• Proficiency with NEC or JCT contracts
• Excellent leadership, communication, and financial management skills
