Sphere Solutions are working with a rapidly expanding regional contractor to enhance their commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of refurbishment and small new build projects ranging from £100k to £2Million, across sectors including Education, Defence, Healthcare, Retail, and more.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, your typical day will include:

• Managing a small team, consisting of a trainee QS & two buyers
• Sub-contractor management to ensure smooth project delivery
• Valuations of work completed and costs incurred
• Material take-offs for accurate costing and procurement
• Ad-hoc commercial duties as needed on various projects
• Management of final accounts to ensure projects are delivered within budget

Suitable Candidate / Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QS/SQS working on refurbishment schemes
• Proven longevity in previous roles
• CSCS card for site access and safety
• Residing within a commutable distance to Plymouth
• A full driving license to travel to sites across Devon & Cornwall
