Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to Work on High-Profile Civil Engineering Projects!

Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a background in civil engineering and major projects? Do you have expertise in NEC contracts and the ability to work on complex, high-value schemes? The Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of major civil engineering projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients, ensuring financial control, cost management, and contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing costs and budgets across large-scale civil engineering projects.
• Overseeing procurement and ensuring value-for-money subcontractor packages.
• Managing NEC contracts, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
• Preparing valuations, variations, and claims while maintaining accurate cost reporting.
• Conducting risk analysis and implementing cost-saving strategies.
• Liaising with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Supporting junior surveyors, providing mentoring and development opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the civil engineering sector.
✅ Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and their application in major infrastructure projects.
✅ Ability to gain security clearance – essential for working on high-profile projects.
✅ Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
✅ Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and cost management skills.
✅ Full UK right to work – sponsorship is not available for this role.
