An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a delivery team on a large-scale, high-profile construction project in Cardiff. This is a senior on-site role, ideal for a driven construction professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in quality, safety, and programme delivery.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take day-to-day responsibility for site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You will be a visible leader on site, coordinating subcontractors and driving progress across multiple work fronts.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall site management, coordination, and supervision of subcontractors
• Driving Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, and compliance standards
• Managing short-term programmes and tracking progress against key milestones
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date site records (H&S, QA, RAMS, inspections, etc.)
• Communicating effectively with the wider delivery team and senior management
• Supporting a productive, disciplined, and solutions-focused site culture

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally demonstrate:

• A local residence or sensible commuting distance to Cardiff
• Proven experience as a Site Manager on large construction projects
• A strong leadership style, with the ability to communicate at all levels
• A tested background across the full build process, with a preference for experience in:
  • Civils / groundworks
  • Steel frame and pre-cast concrete assembly
• An exceptional approach to record keeping, particularly H&S and QA documentation
• The ability to develop short-term programmes and actively monitor site progress
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment with excellent time management skills
