Are you a house building expert with a good eye for detail and keen vision to deliver an outstanding build?

Sphere is currently working with one of the markets leading developers to recruit an experienced Site Manager with a background of working on Timber Frame new build developments.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, must be confident in managing a team and liaising with senior management level. You will be capable of running a site with minimum supervision and set high standards of quality, customer service and Health & Safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance on site at all times to the company health and safety standards and processes, NHBC standards, building regulations and overall quality standards
• Co-ordinating labour and resources
• Monitoring and controlling the cost of production, and approving payment to contractors and trades where appropriate
• Initiating and attending plot inspections
• Carrying out toolbox talks or similar on-site briefings
• With the support of the Contracts Manager, ensure that the on-site Construction team is fully resourced and well-directed
• Showing a good behavioural example in all aspects of health and safety, organisation, conduct, quality of work, and professionalism.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive timber frame house building experience, MUST have at least 5 years experience as a Site Manager
• Demonstrated good leadership and assertive skills to ensure optimum delivery to the highest quality standards on site.
• In depth knowledge of all aspects of construction and housebuilding, and the relevant legislative requirements e.g. health and safety, NHBC requirements and Building Regulations.
• SMSTS, First Aid at work and CSCS card

On Offer:

• Is a salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000 for the right candidate, depending on experience. You will also be rewarded with a company car or car allowance.
