 A reputable, regional contractor has had an increase in workload and is looking to recruit a Supervisor to join their team based in Plymouth.

In a nutshell, you will use your experience and knowledge to ensure refurbishment projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality. With a varied client base, you will work within healthcare, education, retail, commercial and hospitality.

Time will be split between the Plymouth office and site, there will be an element of travel required on occasions throughout the Southwest and Southeast.

Duties will include:

• Manage and supervise the day-to-day running projects

• Prioritise work to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure all relevant paperwork is fully completed and signed.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards, site induction, tool box talks etc.
• Interpret programmes, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Issue updates and documentation to contractors and clients.
• Attend prestart and handover meetings.
• Ordering and scheduling delivery of materials to the site.

Suitable candidates must possess the following:

• Previous experience in a similar role and preferably a Level 4 or above in construction management or equivalent
• Good knowledge of Health Safety legislation
• A full DBS check will be conducted as part of the company induction
• Computer literate
• SMSTS / SSSTS, CSCS (Preferably black card), First Aid (desirable, but training can be provided for the right candidate
• Full UK driving license

Additional information:

• Salary up to £32,000
