Sphere Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Manager to join an award-winning Housing Developer, Exeter-based, but offering agile working. Armed with either an engineering or architectural background, the suitable candidate will take responsibility for the management of the design functions for the business.

Offering a thorough and efficient approach to design, development and management, you will team of like-minded professionals, taking the helm from the inception of a project through to its completion. Creating homes across the South West, priding themselves on sustainable construction methods.

Suitable candidates will provide technical knowledge and experience at both the pre-development, construction and post-construction stages of sites. Manage/coordinate the complete design process and have a good working knowledge of design standards, building regulations and planning guidance.

You will possess the following:

• Experience in a similar role will be essential, ideally housing developer background
• Knowledge of modern build methods, efficient design techniques and sub-structures
• Have knowledge of funding criteria relevant to the affordable housing sector
• Professional qualification – Degree, HND/HNC.
• Good IT skills, AutoCAD and MS365
• Commercially aware
• Full driving license
