The Role

This landmark site combines large retail units and food outlets, so experience with similar schemes is highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all site activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard.
  • Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality expectations.
  • Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders, including clients, design teams, and senior management.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and implement effective quality control procedures.
  • Manage health & safety on site, carrying out toolbox talks and risk assessments.

About You

  • Previous experience managing small to medium-scale commercial construction projects (experience with food outlets desirable).
  • Strong working knowledge of construction processes, health & safety legislation, and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications preferred.
  • Based within commuting distance of Bridgwater (Exeter, Cullompton, or Taunton).
