We are recruiting for an experienced MEP Project Manager (Mechanical) to join a leading Tier 1 building contractor on one of Wales’ most high-profile projects – a landmark £300 million development in Cardiff.
Working directly under the Lead MEP Manager, you will take ownership of mechanical services delivery across the project, coordinating with design, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure quality, programme, and safety standards are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the mechanical building services package on a major new build project.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with programme, cost, and quality targets.

The Role
- Reporting directly to the MEP Lead on a major new-build scheme.
- Managing the electrical building services package across all aspects of the project lifecycle.
- Coordinating design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring work is delivered to programme, quality, and H&S standards.

We’re recruiting an experienced Site Manager to deliver a large commercial project in Bridgwater.
This landmark site combines large retail units and food outlets, so experience with similar schemes is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all site activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard.
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality expectations.
- Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders, including clients, design teams, and senior management.
- Conduct regular site inspections and implement effective quality control procedures.
- Manage health & safety on site, carrying out toolbox talks and risk assessments.
About You
- Previous experience managing small to medium-scale commercial construction projects (experience with food outlets desirable).
- Strong working knowledge of construction processes, health & safety legislation, and quality control.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications preferred.
- Based within commuting distance of Bridgwater (Exeter, Cullompton, or Taunton).
Salary & Benefits
- £50,000 – £55,000 per annum.
