The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial/contractual forecasts, monitor spend against approved client budgets, and maximise cash flow.
- Prepare and review monthly cost reports, track key performance trends, and manage contract change control procedures.
- Conduct physical measurement of works and agree valuations with clients and subcontractors.
- Oversee full sub-contractor lifecycle, including enquiry issuance, tender comparison, price negotiation, order placement, and final account agreement.
- Assess and mitigate commercial risks in accordance with corporate risk management policies.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree, HNC, or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a commercial discipline.

The successful candidate will play a key role in cost planning, procurement, contract management and financial control, working closely with clients, contractors, consultants and supply chain partners.
The Role
- Preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets and cost plans
- Managing project costs and maintaining effective financial control throughout the project lifecycle

- HNC, HND, BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement and commercial management
- Experience in cost planning, forecasting, valuations and financial reporting
- Experience using quantity surveying software such as CostX, QS Suite or PlanSwift
- Professional membership/accreditation such as RICS or CIOB is desirable
- Due to the sensitive nature of the site, successful candidates will be required to obtain BPSS security clearance.
