Quantity Surveyor
Our client, a maintenance & construction contractor are recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their South West operations.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will manage the financial aspects of contracts including sub-contractor procurement, invoicing and payment management, through to the final account. Projects will be varied and include; fire stopping, retrofit – PV installations and general planned maintenance works across social housing and commercial clients.
Specific duties and responsibilities will include:
- Supply chain procurement
- Ensure tenders are prepared by measuring and calculating rates
- Measure and prepare cost estimates for contracts and tenders
- Ensure all work issued has labour targets to return agreed margins
- Ensure production targets are issued and contract CVR’s are set
- Valuations and final accounts
Suitable applicants will possess the following:
- Previous experience in a quantity surveying role, ideally within contracting, maintenance or fire-stopping
- Knowledge of the financial and contractual elements of projects
- Able to manage a contract from inception to final account, understand all costing and expected budgets
- Relevant industry qualifications
- Full driving license
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good MS Office knowledge
