Our client is looking to bring in a Site Engineer to join the site team working on various town centre projects across the South West.

The Candidate:

• Civil Engineering Degree (preferable), 3 years minimum experience in a similar role.
• Experience in a site based Engineering role delivered highways or civils works
• HNC/HND in civil engineering or equivalent.

Roles & responsibilities:

• The role will be responsible for site civils works including surfacing, paving, curbs, drainage and junction improvement.
• Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
• Conduct site surveys, setting out, and levelling.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate site documentation and records.
• Assist in the preparation of project plans and schedules.

The Package:

• £35k-£43k + car/car allowance
• 40 hours a week Mon – Fri
• Overtime available

One of the largest and most successful Civil Engineering & Groundwork contractors are recruiting a Supervisor

• Devon, Cornwall & Somerset – working “on the road”
• Full-time/Permanent
• £33,200-£41,600 (£16ph)

You will work within a 2 person team, supervising the CCTV Drainage operations across new build housing sites in Devon, Cornwall & Somerset.

Suitable candidates will have experience using Wincan V7 and/or v8 sewer inspection reporting programme. Must have experience surveying all types and sizes of drainage systems.

Must have the following:

• Full UK Driving licence
• Confined Space Certificate (Ideally City & Guilds)
• CSCS card (minimum site operative card, with Health & Safety)

All suitable candidates must have a good understanding and working knowledge of all aspects of drainage engineering, the theory of drainage systems and all relevant legislation.

On offer is an hourly rate of £16ph, based on a 40-50 hour week – paid weekly.

The appointed candidate will take the work van home with them, and then meet the operative on-site, anywhere in Devon, Cornwall or Somerset. Candidates must live within one of these areas and must be willing to travel on a daily basis.

This is a permanently employed role and your package will include a pension, annual leave, sick pay and other employed benefits.
