A reputable and long-standing Groundworks & Civil Engineering contractor are on the hunt for a Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager.

You will lead and oversee the groundworks & civil engineering package on a large new build housing scheme based in Launceston. Site safety, efficiency and quality must be paramount throughout.

Suitable candidates will have site management experience with a new build developer, contractor or groundworks company. Assistant-level candidates are welcome to apply but must hold SMSTS, CSCS and/or NPORS.

I’m seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join a large nuclear project, working on RC, bulk earthworks and infrastructure schemes.

£60,000-£82,000

The appointed candidate will have experience in the installation of M&E and fit-out of RC frame buildings, as well as a thorough understanding of NEC contracts.

Responsibilities will include:

Create programmes from 1^st principles, utilising M&E schemes, drawings and specifications
Audit subcontractor programmes
Introduce and analyse change in programmes according to prescriptive NEC conditions
Resource and cost load
Develop the content and structure for a tender programme

Applicants but possess the following:

Must have NEC contract-based planning experience, within the UK.
Will have familiar RC frame-building knowledge, ideally within M&E
Minimum of 5 years of planning experience, within construction, nuclear or similar
Previous construction experience, across a wide range of engineering projects, with a good understanding of commercial and contractual matters.
Competency in the use of Primavera P6.

Hybrid working is an available option but there will be the requirement to go to site every week.
