This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of the largest and most complex data centre developments in Europe. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in large-scale construction or data centre projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all commercial and contract management activities for the project, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality expectations.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies, identifying risks and opportunities to maximise project profitability.
- Manage procurement processes, supplier negotiations, and subcontractor agreements.
- Oversee cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring transparent and efficient financial management.
- Ensure compliance with German and EU contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants, to drive project success.
- Provide strategic leadership to commercial teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in commercial leadership roles within large-scale construction, infrastructure, or data centre projects.
- Strong understanding of contract management (FIDIC, NEC, or other relevant forms of contract).
- Expertise in cost management, procurement, and risk assessment.
- Ability to navigate complex contractual and financial frameworks within an international environment.
- Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are highly desirable.
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
- MRICS/MCIOB accreditation is an advantage
Package:
- 120,000 euro basic salary (negotiable)

This role demands an experienced professional with a deep understanding of RC frame design, execution, and quality assurance in high-profile construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering and technical aspects of concrete and RC frame construction.
- Manage and oversee subcontractors and site personnel to ensure adherence to designs, specifications, and project timelines.
- Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement efficient construction methodologies for RC frames.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards for concrete works, ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Conduct structural assessments, troubleshooting, and value engineering exercises where required.
- Prepare, review, and approve technical drawings, calculations, and material submittals.
- Liaise with design consultants, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and problem resolution.
- Ensure health and safety standards are rigorously upheld across all activities.
- Manage project documentation, including site reports, risk assessments, and technical records.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or a related field).
- Chartered status or working towards Chartership with a recognized institution (e.g., ICE, IStructE).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record in concrete and RC frame projects.
Technical Expertise:
- Comprehensive knowledge of reinforced concrete frame construction techniques.
- Proficient in using relevant design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla, Revit, or similar).
- Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations, including Eurocodes and British Standards.
- Strong understanding of material specifications, formwork systems, and concrete technology.
