It is with great confidence we are recruiting for an Accounts Manager to head up an accounts team for a busy construction company.

Working with an experienced and diligent team you will take the helm of ensuring all accounts systems and processes are actioned in a detailed and organised manner.

The role:

  • To manage the accounts function of a busy construction company
  • Managing the other members of the accounts team
  • VAT reports and returns
  • Managing and adhering to deadlines for VAT, TAX etc.
  • Paying subcontractors CIS
  • Dealing with/ chasing large payments and billing large sums
  • Process payroll, invoicing and applications
  • Setting up new starters to the company

What you need:

  • Good experience in managing accounts/payroll process, being tasked and detailed orientated with leadership experience
  • Must have worked within a construction environment
  • An understanding of CIS Payments
  • SAGE experience is essential, and knowledge of the construction add-on EQUE2 would be advantageous
  • Detail-oriented, task/date focus, organised and have leadership experience
  • Longevity with previous employers would be a distinct advantage
  • Driving License due to the office location

Hours – Monday to Friday ; 8.30am – 5pm with an hour for lunch

Thursday to Monday 9:45am to 5:30pm 37.54 hours per week

Sphere Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Advisor to join an award-winning developer in Devon. Working as an integral part of the team, you will be responsible for responding to all generated sales leads.

Candidates must be willing to work weekends and travel to sites across Devon.

Key responsibilities:

  • Successfully qualify and close sales and support the sales process through to legal completion
  • Maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction to all customers
  • Ensure show homes/sales office presentation meets departmental standards
  • Being fully aware of all of the benefits and unique selling points of each home
  • Assist in market research to support the department
  • Be able to hand over the customer’s new home
  • General marketing duties
  • General Administration

Suitable candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within housebuilding, estate agency
  • Have knowledge of the construction industry and property markets
  • Proven experience meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Able to fully commit to the working hours and days required.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Experience in a sales environment
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills
  • Ability to influence, persuade and negotiate
  • Driving license and own transport

On offer

  • Is a competitive salary circa £27,000, plus commission (OTE of £20,000++ if overachieving)
  • benefits package including; pension, private medical, life assurance and a performance-related bonus.
