I am working with a highly successful regional contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager to oversee a large programme of refurbishment.

Working across multiple sectors, which will include refurbishment of heritage, MoD, commercial and further educational establishments, up to £2m.
To be considered for this role you will need extensive Site Management experience, be used to taking a project from inception to completion and have good client liaison skills, sometimes working in an occupied environment.
Duties will include:
- Manage and coordinate all site staff and sub-contractors.
- Give daily toolbox talks
- Drive delivery of the site, building to programme and budget
- Always manage and ensure a high level of health and safety.
Suitable candidates:
- A proven track record managing projects up to £2m, working will include; MoD, Commercial, Refurbishment and Heritage schemes
- SMSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid are required
- Candidates must be willing to undergo DBS/security clearance.
- IT skills are a must,

Your day to day will include:
- Provide commercial input including financial and contractual performance forecasts.
- Preparation of monthly cost/value reports for the area, together with a review of results and consideration of trends with other contract team members
- Production of commercial reports together with review of results and consideration of trends with other contract team members
- Physical measurement of works and agreement of same with client and subcontractors
- Agreement of certification and payment of subcontractor accounts – monitoring of such accounts against forecasts. Ensure cash flow is maximised including ensuring payments are received on time.
Who are we looking for?
- Must be educated to degree level
- Must have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a large contractor
- Must have confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office particularly in Excel
- You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Must hold a Full UK Drivers Licence
- Must be able to gain Security Clearance

The appointed candidate will lead the Bid Writing and Business Development activities for this regional construction company, ensuring that all submissions are completed professionally and within timeframes.
You will manage an assistant-level member of staff and work closely with the Pre-Construction & Commercial team, gathering appropriate documents for tenders and providing general commercial assistance.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage the preparation of supplier tender enquiries, including SQ, PQQs, and RFIs
- Ensure all submissions are accurate, complete, and comply with the tender requirements
- Oversee maintenance and updating the ‘Bid Library’
- Attend industry conferences, meetings, and events to promote the company
- Oversee ISO-integrated management systems’ annual audits
- Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on bid outcomes and market research
