Location: South Devon / Exeter (Projects across the region)
Salary: £45,000–£48,000 + Company Vehicle + Benefits

About the Role
We are working with a well-established contractor specialising in property services, maintenance, and refurbishment across the South West. Known for high-quality delivery and long-term client relationships, they are a trusted partner in the social housing sector.
We are seeking an experienced Roofing Site Manager to lead roofing upgrade projects across social housing properties in South Devon and Exeter. You will oversee works on both void and occupied properties, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, organisation, and expertise in roofing and refurbishment works.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations on projects across the region
- Supervise works on both void and occupied social housing properties
- Ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, and in line with project programmes
- Monitor and maintain high standards of quality control
- Supervise site teams and subcontractors
- Maintain strong communication with clients, tenants, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
Requirements & Experience
- Proven roofing experience, ideally on commercial or social housing projects
- NVQ Level 2 in Roofing & Slating (essential)
- SMSTS, CSCS card & First Aid at Work (essential)
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across South Devon & Exeter
- Experience in social housing, maintenance, or refurbishment projects
