About the Role
We are working with an award-winning housebuilder delivering high-quality, luxury new build homes across Devon & Cornwall.
We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of residential construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Manager in supervising direct labour and subcontractors on-site
- Ensure site setup, health & safety, and quality standards are maintained at all times
- Monitor progress and quality of work at all stages of construction
- Manage materials and subcontractor orders, ensuring accurate records
- Attend site meetings and report updates to the Site Manager
- Liaise with customers to ensure a positive handover experience
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager in volume new build housing
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work certification
- Ability to motivate and manage multiple trades and subcontractors
- Full UK driving licence

Are you an experienced technical leader with a proven track record in residential development? We’re seeking a Technical & Engineering Manager to join a growing Pre-Construction team. This pivotal role manages the technical delivery of residential schemes from planning through to build completion.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage technical and engineering aspects across multiple residential schemes.
- Oversee design coordination, statutory approvals, and ensure compliance with CDM and Health & Safety regulations.
- Manage consultant appointments, fee budgets, and design programmes.
- Drive value engineering, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure timely delivery of technical information to support tendering and construction.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in pre-construction/design management within residential or volume housebuilding.
- Excellent knowledge of CDM Regulations, building regulations, and warranty standards.
- Proven ability to manage planning conditions, utilities, and sectional agreements.
- Strategic project management skills with excellent communication and leadership ability.
- HND / Level 5 qualification in design, construction, or civil engineering required. Degree / Level 6 and professional membership desirable.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all site operations from groundworks through to final handover.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and the site workforce.

About the Role
A regional, well-known housebuilder with over 50 years of success – and still growing – is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join their Technical team in the South West.
Reporting to the Technical Director, you’ll lead the engineering aspects of new developments, manage consultants, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure cost-effective, buildable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate potential development sites and prepare comprehensive technical reports, including on-site assessments with management teams.
- Develop engineering feasibility studies for land acquisitions, covering infrastructure, drainage strategies, foundations, retaining structures, cut and fill calculations, and underbuild considerations.
- Review geotechnical reports, drainage plans, and highways designs, providing guidance on foundation and structural engineering requirements.
- Implement sewer requisitions (S98) and create constraints plans to support efficient and practical site layouts.
- Collaborate with external consultants to develop initial drainage strategies.
- Coordinate external consultants through all design stages, from bidding and planning to detailed site working drawings.
- Evaluate roads, sewers, and external works to optimise buildability and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Oversee utility management, including diversions, supply arrangements, and cost considerations prior to land and planning submissions.
- Participate in planning, pre-tender, and pre-start meetings as needed.
- Support the Land and Planning teams with pre-commencement activities and site surveys.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all costs relating to residential projects from procurement through to final account.
- Minimise costs and maximise value, whilst meeting required standards and specifications.
- Oversee subcontractor management, contract administration, and monthly payments.
- Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and valuations in line with project progress.
- Work closely with project teams to monitor budgets, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and best practices.
About You
- HNC/HND in Surveying (or equivalent qualification).

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Adoptions Manager to join a well-established and award-winning housing developer in Exeter. This role is crucial in ensuring the adoption of estate completion infrastructure, including roads, sewers, and utilities, by the respective authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections to assess infrastructure completion for public adoption.
- Monitor and manage Section Agreements (S38, S104, S111, S278).
- Liaise with Local Authorities and legal teams to resolve adoption-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with title deeds, maintenance bonds, and legal requirements.
- Assist in producing monthly estate completion reports and budget forecasts.
- Apply for Deed of Variations for S38 and S104 Agreements.
- Oversee certification applications and bond reductions.
