We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading residential developer, covering developments in Cornwall.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of cost management across new build residential developments, ensuring value for money while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

This is a varied role where you’ll be involved in procurement, subcontract management, monthly valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts, all while driving margin improvement and supporting the successful delivery of housing schemes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all costs relating to residential projects from procurement through to final account.
  • Minimise costs and maximise value, whilst meeting required standards and specifications.
  • Oversee subcontractor management, contract administration, and monthly payments.
  • Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and valuations in line with project progress.
  • Work closely with project teams to monitor budgets, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and best practices.

About You

  • HNC/HND in Surveying (or equivalent qualification).
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential or contracting sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
  • Commercially astute with good negotiation, communication, and networking skills.
  • Confident with budget management and reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Office (experience with COINS is advantageous).
  • Full UK driving licence (site travel required).

About the Role

We’re working with a leading residential developer to recruit an experienced Construction Director to join their South West region, based from their Exeter office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior construction professional to take ownership of multiple large-scale housing and residential development projects across the region. You’ll oversee all aspects of construction operations – including project planning, budgeting, quality assurance, health & safety, and team performance – ensuring every project is delivered on time, to budget, and to the highest standards.

This is a key leadership role within the regional board, offering real influence over business strategy and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the regional construction function across multiple housing developments.
  • Oversee project planning, programme management, and operational delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with commercial, technical, and sales teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement in site safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Report to senior leadership on progress, performance, and risk management.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Construction Director, Head of Construction, or Operations Director within the housebuilding or residential development sector.

  • Track record of delivering high-quality, safe, and profitable developments.

As a Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the sales progression process from initial reservation through to legal completion. This position also involves providing administrative support to the Sales Department, including maintaining accurate records, collating sales data, and preparing reports for the Head of Sales.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage property sales progression from reservation to completion.
  • Liaise with solicitors, mortgage providers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and regular updates throughout the sales process.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate sales documentation and records.
  • Collate weekly, monthly, and annual sales data and produce reports.

This is a full-time office-based role, Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
