Our client, an award-winning residential developer is recruiting for an experienced Housing Site Manager to work on a large unit site in St Austell. With a healthy land bank and clearly structured management team, this will suit an experienced manager with experience of NHBC processes and traditional build methods.

As an experienced Site Manager you will take responsibility for the production of all units, on-site health and safety management and the management of sub-contractors. Reporting to you will be a full site team consisting of an Assistant Site Manager and a permanent forklift and labourer as a minimum.

Suitable candidates will have a proven track record in house building at a similar level, together with knowledge of modern construction methods, processes and current health and safety legislation. Strong organisational and communication skills are also required. Good local supply chain knowledge will be essential.

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary Circ. £66,000 and an excellent benefits package including; company car/car allowance, pension, private medical, life assurance and a performance-related bonus.

I am working with a private, bespoke house builder to recruit an experienced Customer Care / Multi-Skilled Technician to join their team covering developments across Cornwall

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will carry out all maintenance and repairs to newly built and owned properties, ensuring the very best care and service is provided to new homeowners throughout their aftercare period.

Key responsibilities:

  • Taking direction from the Customer Care Manager, ensuring all customer appointments are attended on time.
  • Ensure the property is adequately protected before the commencement of works, including PPE and overshoes.
  • Take relevant photographs confirming protection, before and after work and reporting on completion of works via email.
  • Review your diary and ensure that workload is allocated appropriately, ensuring work can be completed right first-time in the time allowed and resolved in a timely manner.
  • As and when required carry out inspections of reported defects and issue a full report with photographs.
  • Report any repetitive defects on active and non-active sites to the Customer Care Manager to discuss with the Commercial/Technical Director
  • Ensure that Health and Safety are followed, and site regulations are adhered to.

To be successful in the role, we are looking for:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction, and housebuilding trades e.g. Painting, Decorating, Plastering, Carpentry and Joinery
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Organised, self-motivated with a high level of personal integrity and respect for others is essential.
  • Able to work as part of a small team with established processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise work and take initiative.
  • Works well under pressure/in a fast-moving environment.
  • Driving license.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Assistant Site Manager to join the construction team. The Assistant Site Manager will work closely with the Site Manager to ensure the successful delivery of residential new build schemes, the first site will be Near St Ives.

The role:

  • Assist the Site Manager in planning and coordinating all construction activities.
  • Monitor and enforce safety regulations and compliance with company policies.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and direct labour on site.
  • Ensure that work is progressing according to programme timelines.
  • Quality control, inspection of works, and Customer Care.
  • Support / deputise for the Site Manager s and when required.
  • Liaison with the NHBC/LABC and building inspectors.

What you will need:

  • Experience in a similar role within newly built housing
  • Knowledge of modern construction methods, in particular timber frame
  • Ideally a trade or HNC background, with a valid SMSTS, First Aid at Work, ideally CSCS also.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents.
  • Health & Safety-conscious and familiar with safety regulations on-site.
  • Full driving license required.

We are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join a regional contractor, working as part of the site team to deliver both refurbishment and new build schemes across Cornwall.

Joining an experienced operations team, you will assist with the running of a busy site; managing trades, site inductions, toolbox talks, influence on site health and safety, and ensure the projects are on track, sometimes having to deputise for the Site Manager.

To be considered for this role you will need to have

  • SMSTS, CSCS and FAW
  • Experience at a similar level, refurbishment experience will be advantageous

The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for managing sales traffic across sites in the Newquay area, overseeing show homes, and engaging with potential customers.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, have a strong interest in property, and preferably have previous experience in the housing or estate agency industry. This role requires good IT skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining a professional and personable demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all sales traffic on site, including show homes and drive-by/walk-in potential customers.
  • Conduct viewings and provide guidance on pricing, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our clients brand and what it stands for, ensuring consistent representation to customers.
  • Assist with general sales administration tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites
  • Presentable and personable,
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interest in the property industry, with a good understanding of market trends and customer preferences.
  • Ideally, previous experience in the housing or estate agency sector,
  • Proficient in IT skills, including the use of relevant software and tools.
  • Availability to work Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.
  • Salary range: £25,000 – £26,000 per annum
