Responsibilities:

• Ensuring HSE compliance on-site at all times, including NHBC standards, building regulations and overall quality standards
• Co-ordinating labour and sub-contractor resources
• Initiating and attending plot inspections
• With the support of the Contracts Manager, ensure that the on-site Construction team is fully resourced and well-directed

Suitable candidates will possess the following:

• Extensive house building experience, with at least 5 years experience as a Site Manager
• Demonstrate good leadership skills, ensuring delivery of the highest quality.
• In-depth knowledge of both traditional and modern construction methods
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work – will consider both a trade and academic background providing evidence of volume house building and longevity with previous employers
• Due to the location, good knowledge of the North Devon supply chain would be preferred.
