The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and programme adherence
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site teams
- Maintain excellent client and stakeholder relationships
- Monitor site progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions
- Drive health & safety standards across the site
- Ensure accurate reporting and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering large, complex construction projects
- Strong background with well-regarded regional or national contractors
- Experience delivering high-value education or public sector projects preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications essential
- Full UK driving licence

Requirements

- Background in main contracting – Tier 1 contractor experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
- Track record of successfully delivering education or public sector projects is advantageous
- Relevant construction qualifications and certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid)
