Sphere Solutions Charity Golf Day at Oake Manor
Swinging for a Great Cause: Golf, Community and Fundraising
There are few better ways to bring people together than a day on the golf course—especially when it is all in support of an important cause.
On Thursday 27th, Sphere Solutions was proud to host the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity Western Branch Golf Event at the prestigious Oake Manor Golf Club in Taunton.
The event brought together colleagues, clients and supply-chain partners for a memorable day of friendly competition, networking and fundraising. Blessed with excellent weather and even better company, the day showcased the generosity and community spirit of everyone involved.
Friendly competition on the course
From the first tee shot to the final putt, there was a fantastic atmosphere across the course.
Teams competed for the all-important bragging rights, with some impressive golf on display—and, of course, a few less conventional shots that will probably be talked about for years to come!
Whether they were experienced golfers or simply there to enjoy the occasion, everyone embraced the day with enthusiasm, friendly competition and plenty of good humour.

Supporting construction workers and their families
While the golf provided plenty of entertainment, the most important part of the day was the collective effort to support the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity.
Thanks to the generosity of our players, sponsors, donors and volunteers, the event raised valuable funds to help the charity continue supporting construction workers and their families when they need it most.
The Lighthouse Charity provides vital emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to people across the construction community. We are incredibly proud to support the important work it delivers throughout our industry.

A huge thank you
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who played, sponsored, donated, volunteered or helped organise the event. Your support played a crucial role in making the day such a success.
Special thanks must also go to the team at Oake Manor Golf Club and all our event partners. Their hospitality, professionalism and support helped create a memorable experience for everyone involved.

We are already looking forward to next year’s Charity Golf Day, with the date to be confirmed, and hope to make it even bigger and better.
Until then, thank you once again to everyone who helped make this year’s event such a memorable success.
